Amazing food! I look for any excuse to eat there.
The day ends in a "Y", I didn't fall over while putting on my underwear this morning, you choose! It worth it!!!
Usually places like this are buffet style, but we were surprised to find that this place isn't. The portion sizes are sufficient, but if you want a second helping, things get pricey fast. However, the flavor of everything was phenomenal! Also, a bonus was all the raw ingredients were on ice and that kept them nice and fresh. Overall, four stars for flavor, experience, and service. One star taken away for price vs. Quality.
Nice place for a quick lunch. I came here with my kids for lunch yesterday. We shared one bowl and it was enough for us. How it works Is, you grab a bowl and fill it up with noodles, veggies, and sauces. Then the cook will ask you what type of protein you want and they cook it to order on a big flat grill. You can also ask for a specific type of premade sauce(curry, teriyaki, sweet n sour) to be cooked with your dish. The meal also comes with a side of rice(white, brown, or fried). They provide free cups if you just want water, and also a big bin of fortune cookies as dessert. It's a good value for a filling lunch.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food was yummy! We will definitely come back!
Excellent fresh veggies with good variety. Really love the sauces and rice sides that are included. Brown rice with chicken curry is my favorite. Very nice workers.
Relaxed atmosphere with friendly hospitality. They offer the typical meat options as well as lamb, and also have tofu or egg options and delicious fresh veggies.
Reasonable price. Very fast. Nice choices and fresh.
We've been coming to this Mongolian grill on and off for years. Their ingredients always fresh, love their homemade pickled broccoli. The owner and staffs are always so friendly. The place is always clean and well maintained. Their price is good too. I will definitely recommend them.
The staff is VERY welcoming and accommodating, the food is fantastic (everything is super fresh and you choose your own ingredients and flavors) even my picky 6 year old loved it!!! They serve large portions for a very reasonable price. We will be back again and again and again....
We were visiting from the Tampa area saw this place on our way to Paine Field. All the Mongolian near us are closed so we were excited to find this.
Food was very fresh with a lot of variety for the basic bowl as well as toppings after cooking. Quantity & price were both good.
There was also a staff member assigned to the veggie bar. He was constantly re-filling bins as well as picking up the inevitable spilled items.
We both enjoyed our creations and, if we lived here, we would be back.
This is the best Mongolian grill around! Seriously, my family and I drive 20 minutes just to go here. They have fresh food, delicious sauces, friendly staff, and a laid back environment. If you're looking for a great meal, go here! You won't regret it.
Great place, these people treat us over the top! We really appreciate how they welcome our family into there establishment!
Great Fresh food cooked to order in front of you. Try a mixture of Mongolian sauce and Peanut sauce! Great mixture!
Convenient location for Mongolian grill. Fresh veggies, never had issues here. Plus they are vegan friendly (huge plus), they will separate your dish if you don't want cross contamination when they are cooking it. Just be sure to let them know. They will go out of their way to make sure you leave satisfied.
Have always loved eating here. Great service, excellent food and reasonable prices. My family of 4, (myself, wife and 2 daughters) got 3 bowls. While the total came out to just under $50. We all have leftovers, equal enough to another plate of food. 2 meals, 1 price.
Great food at a good price! You pick your own noodles and veggies and protein. They saute everything together.
This place is great! I love the spicy mongolian sauce. You get to pick every ingredient you put in your food, everything is fresh, and you watch them cook it right infront of you! 10 out of 10 would recommend. You can even control your portion size, they let you add as much as you can fit in the bowl but do keep in mind if it's like over flowing they do charge a $1 extra veggie fee but it is totally worth it?
Such good food. Very good variety and well made. The employees are nice & explain their process well. I had a chicken bowl with a bunch of fixings & it hit the spot. So good!
Not the highest quality Mongolian grill. The food is not fresh, but the customer service was amazing and the sauces make the food very good. Great place for lots of food, cheap price, and kinda tasty.
Fresh and delicious! I don't know what the person's deal is who posted that tiny plate of food ("This for $13? Hahaha"). We got a ton of food for the money. Sorry you're a baby who doesn't know how to load up your bowl, that's not their fault.
Great food. Great service. Heaping amounts of food for an excellent price. As a first time customer, they took the time to explain to us how the visit was going to operate without frustrations.
Great tasting and healthy food cooked right in view of you! Tip: pack one bowl with all the vegetables you want and they add the meat you want in a 2nd bowl.
After both bowls are all cooked, you also get to choose between white, brown, or fried rice.
The cashier is friendly. Dont see other staff members except man who does the grilling. Portions are how much you put on your plate. The place is clean. A little overpriced. Service is fast.
This is a great restaurant for quick lunches, or a leisurely meal with friends. Vegetable and protein selections are great, and they offer a variety of sauces to choose from. The line sometimes seems long, but it moves quickly. You cam also take your order to go. The staff is pleasant and anxious to ensure that you get a great meal.
Excellent food cooked on the grill right in front of you.
We eat here often.
Staff is very friendly.
Place is very clean.
Good prices and fast. Healthy and tastey!
Great food. Good place for teams to have lunch.
This was my first time in a while getting some Mongolian other than at a buffet. I wasn't expecting much but I'm really glad I came here to give it a try. This place is located in the QFC complex on Mukilteo Speedway so there's plenty of parking.
The inside is super open and spacious with different sizes of tables and seating neatly laid out to keep the layout of the place organized. The layout also makes it very straightforward where you should go for what. You grab a bowl and choose whatever ingredients you want, you choose your protein and hand it over to the employees to cook while you pay, they hand it back once it's cooked and have you choose your sides, you grab whatever drinks and utensils you need, then head to a table to enjoy your meal.
At first, I thought the bowl you use to choose your ingredients was pretty small. But they actually let you overfill the bowl very generously so it ends up filling a giant plate really well! After picking my ingredients, I chose beef for protein and fried rice drizzled with chicken curry for my sides. It was so packed with flavor and everything complemented the dish as a whole very tastefully. We were both so satisfied and so full after we finished our meal.
The service here is so nice. The lady that helped us was always smiling and asking us what we'd like every step of the way. I'm really satisfied and will be coming back when I want a hefty and flavorful meal (:
Been going here forever and will always come back. Love how fresh the food is and good too.
Our family has been struggling to find a good chinese restaurant. I decided to give Mongolian Grill a try. I was overwhelmed! Not only is the restaurant spotless, the staff was very courteous and friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. There were several options to choose from. I live in Shoreline and it's well worth the drive! You won't be disappointed!
It was very good. Kept the food area very clean
Thank you for reply. I read your reply to my wife & she told me to tell you that she loves your fried rice and is happy to hear of your wonderful offer.
I always appreciate hearing back from managers/owners, as I hope the do from customers.
Accidentally pocket dialed a 1 star review somehow, thanks for letting me know. The food is great as always!
Always quick and fresh. One of my favorites!
Quick and GOOD food. I had the chicken curry sauce and it was so flavorful. Definitely a good takeout place or quick stop!
It's a self serve type joint: all fresh food, great sauces, nice seating arrangement. Host was very communicative.
The food is great their but only one bad side. When I walk in,Their is no welcomed. The guest experience their is not so great however the food is great once again. I wish they can make a Custormer feel welcomed.
Asian cuisine, buffet style. You take a bowl (or two) and fill it with noodles and/or available cut vegetables of your choice as you walk down the line. Then tell the wait person what kind of protein (meat or tofu) you want, and the chef cooks it all on a big round grill. Then choose the sauce and rice you want. Eat at tables or take-out. Everything was fresh and good-tasting. Typical Mongolian Grill restaurant.
Typically one dishes up raw product in a small bowl.
Hand it over to grill attendant.
They ask what type of meat, seafood or tofu portion you'd like to add to your meal .
At the end of the line you add heated sauces, cooked rices.
All of this falls a large platter.
Food is delicious! Spicy Mongolian sauce is the best! Clean and nice place
I just have to say to all those who wrote reviews complaining about how the sauce isn’t cooked into the food - just so you know, it can be cooked into the food; all you need to do is ask. I feel like they should advertise this more clearly, but it can be done.
I will say that when I have had a meal with the sauce not cooked in, it did not taste all that good. I would highly recommend to anyone who goes here to ask for the sauce to be cooked into the meal before writing this place off. I almost did, but then gave it one more try with the sauce cooked in, and I loved it!! With the sauce put in after, the meal tasted dry and unfinished. I’m honestly surprised they don’t just cook the sauce in by default, but to each their own.
My favorite place to eat with my family! The food is tasty and always hot!! The buffet area is always clean and tidy.
By far my favorite Mongolian grill, the biggest and cleanest one I've ever been to. The seating is actually nice and the people there are fantastic. So sweet and helpful and they clean up all the spills constantly, as it does happen with people getting their own food. This was the first Mongolian grill I ever went to and have tried some others thinking they'd be the same but I get let down every time. Go to this one, it's the best!
Good food and very nice folks here. Witnessed great sanitary precautions taken by staff (owners?). At the end of the night, the grill area and grill hood were scrubbed meticulously.
Before ordering, we decided to visit the restroom to wash up. It took awhile, as we waited until a woman (who we believed to be another customer) finished washing up. She took quite a while. When we went to place our order, this same woman served us the sides and sauces to our dinners. And she was so pleasant while taking our orders.
The chef cooked everything to perfection. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Sauces are very good, fast service, I usually go around 7, in and out in 10 minutes (to go order).
This place is great. Monster plate of food for ten bucks. The Thai peanut sauce is awesome. And the lady working behind the counter was really nice. Easy peasy.
Great food! Staff was very helpful. Place was clean. Would definitely recommend.
Good food, and pleasantly surprised. My kids liked making the there own dish.
Great food. You get what you pay for and you are sure to come out full. The staff are very friendly.
A local favorite and great for lunch. Plentiful portions, but they don't give you a whole lot of meat. Base price is good but add-ons are steep. Delicious food and I come here regularly.
I've been going here since I was twelve. And ever since, it's been my favorite place place in town to eat. Even when the employees changed the quality remained.
First time here and what a delight. So Good! Food was really delicious.
Excellent food!! Cooked quickly and to perfection!! Great staff and friendly environment!! :)
This is our FAVORITE place to go for dinner, and I am surprised that it gets low marks by some! I love that fresh meat (not frozen) is added after you deliver your bowl of veggies and noodles you have packed in. There are so many vegetable choices that I always have a tough time getting it to not overflow the bowl. They have NEVER said anything about how full it is. The meat portion is very generous and much more than the normal thin-shaved frozen meat at other places that I have to add as part of my bowl of food. The grilling is always done perfectly, and they have such WONDERFUL sauces they add for you at the end! I think I have tried every sauce they have (all good!), but the spicy Mongolian is my favorite. I appreciate not having to add a combination of thin sauces/oils to my veggies before they are cooked. I have always been asked if I would like more than one scoop of sauce, but I usually decline; one scoop seems plenty. Then you have a choice of white, brown, or fried rice! They have additional things you can add to your meal if you desire, hot sauces, peanuts, etc. So, don't let the low marks scare you. We have been here so many times, and the food is always wonderful! It is an extremely generous portion of food for the money, and there are even take-home boxes if you can't finish! Another nice touch is they have a glass cookie jar where you can grab a fortune cookie or two.
I love nearly all Mongolian grill places and am happy to have this one as a another local option. I admit I do prefer the all you can eat ones as I am a big eater, but this one is still tasty and reasonable. It's probably the perfect amount for a regular appetite. For a flat rate you can get a regularly portioned bowl, although do be cautious not to overfill it as they advise strongly against this. Its nice that the protein portion and most of the sauce gets added after you fill up your bowl, so you get a little bit more food than bowl size and can still add rice on at the end.
I really appreciate that they offer tofu as an option. Different protein options may have an additional fee. I also think that some of the veggie options here are better than most. The kale is a great addition, I love that the baby corns are sliced and the marinated veggie also spice things up a bit. The basil sauce is also a unique offering. I do admit to missing black olives though. This is great for a fast meal that is slightly healthy.
Excellent food, excellent service the price was very reasonable for the amount of food. Very fresh and tasty. Im will be back!
Good Mongolian food. No complaints, but nothing to write home about. I would recommend it to my friends and for lunch dates.
Mongolian Grill in Mukilteo is the best place for Mongolian since Chang's Mongolian closed. Prices are fair. Make sure you watch out how much you put in your bowl it's an extra charge. Give it a try yourself you might find it to be pretty good.
Excellent food and quick service. Portions are huge and there is plenty variety of vegetables and toppings. The first time I was there I didn't fill my bowl up and the server kept telling me to "fill the bowl up". I ended up with way too much to eat! Now I know not to heap it up too much.
This is one of the newer locations in the Mongolian Grill chain. I like it, it's definitely the cleanest Mongolian Grill I've ever been in, the service is good, the food is good.
I have been to this establishment several times, each time I have been there the service has been excellent, the quality of the food has been above par and the ability to have number of people there is great as well. I recommend going sundays when its slow. Nice and Relaxing.
First time trying this last night at this location as well. Very clean eating area! and the grill was clean as well. The staff was friendly and cooks were good. lots of fresh vegetable choices, lo mein & rice noodles. Big bowls you can pile high with whatever ingredients you want then you get rice choice as well and different sauces to chose from (teriyaki, curry, sweet & sour, etc) Definatly can get two meals out of it!
Best Mongolian grill we've found so far since our local favorite closed. Counter person was super friendly. (It surprises me how many restaurants don't get it: 'smile and be nice') Great variety of fresh vegetables. Lots of little extra flavor options available too. Clean. Reasonable price. They serve brown rice (big plus for me). We're definitely going back.
I've been to several Mongolian Grills around the Puget Sound, and I have to say they are all really good! This one was no exception, food was great especially the spicy Mogolian sauce, the people that run the place are really nice, and it's clean and organized. I will definitely be back.
There are few place that we have been to for a good Mongolian Grill. And this by far is among the top three. The place has a charisma about it and when I say it I don't mean just the food. It is a very clean, small but cozy, with a good number of options restaurant.
First the food; I have seen some places where either they do not serve enough options in sauces or vegetables or their vegetable / meat is not fresh. However, at this place, food is fresh and tasty. They have 14 different sauces that goes with variety of fresh vegetables ( around 10+) and meat /tofu options. One world about their tofu; it is just super tasty. Overall, whenever we went there, food came out to be really really good. Also, the bowl is of decent size and they serve extra brown/white/fried rice with it. So if you are not very hungry it will suffice for 2 people.
Now about the service; very courteous, polite and accommodating. We made few request for a vegetarian option and the guy on the counter did his best. We were very satisfied with that and gave him a handsome tip.
In sum, our experience was amazing and we intend to visit that place whenever we are close by.
Best Mongolian grill I've ever been too! Super clean, great selection, decent prices, quick if your getting it to go, and the staff is nice. Also, I've never seen it busy in there, it's perfect for my quick lunch break dash!
The whole family liked this place. They had great selection of things to add to your dish and also several sauce choices. You get a lot of food. I had my left overs for lunch the next day so that made it an even better price. One of the best hot green teas I have had!
This place is a "Go" for the family at least once every two months. The food is good and the place is clean with decent pricing. It's also worthy to note that you have the choice to eat a little healthier if that's your preference.
So here is what you need to know.
Once you enter the restaurant, walk over to the "salad bar" area and pick up a bowl. - Fill it with your choice of noodles and various vegetables. At the end of the salad, tell the staff your choice of meat (beef, chicken, pork, tofu, or prawns. While you wait in line, they will throw it onto a grill, cook the meat, fry up the vegetables/noodles and then serve it to you on a large plate. You will have a choice of white rice, brown rice, or fried rice and various sauces.
Bottom Line: Quick service and decent food with fresh ingredients. Good value- lunch for two people today= $19.20.
Where can I begin to review my favorite place? It's enough to say that every time I go the taste is better and better. Never has the quality lacked. The vegetables are always fresh and chilled with ice to ensure the freshness. The spicy mongolian sauce is the best ever.
Was working in the area and the crew and I wondered over to this place for lunch. As soon as we walked in the door the awesome smell attacked my nostrils like a ninja. It smelled amazing!!!! So I grabbed a bowl and filled it with as much veggies and noodles as possible, then had the option of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp or tofu. So I added chicken to it. The cook to the bowl and cooked it on a giant flat skillet. You get to choose from white, brown or fried rice and they have a nice size variety of different sauces to put on top.
Once everything is done they put it onto a giant plate. There was so much food on the plate there's no way you could leave this place still hungry. After it was all said and done it only cost just under $12. Well worth it because of the amount of food you get.
I have been to a lot of Mongolian Grills and this one is better kept and serves higher quality food than the vast majority of them. You will get a massive amount of food for about $10 a person at dinner, you get to make it just the way you like, and it is extremely fast. The service has never been bad. To make it even better, the leftovers are delicious.
If you aren't familiar with this style of restaurant, let me explain. You take an empty bowl, add all the noodles, veggies, and extras you want. Then you pour some sauces over it, add your choice of meet, and they cook it up right in front of you in about two minutes. They also give you rice at this location.
Here's a tip: if you don't put a couple ladles of oil on your bowl the dish will turn out a little dry and flavorless. Don't skimp on your sauce!
I like eating here. The food is pretty good, tons of sauces to put on top of your food. My favorite thing to get here is the "Mongolian Beef Special", they grab the veggies for you, which is a couple of dollars cheaper than the regular help yourself style.
However, I may not go back for a while since you can't call your order in anymore. I like the fast drop in and pick up your food ready to go. The lines can be pretty bad in here if its busy.
This is my favorite restaurant in Mukilteo. I'm not a stranger to the Mongolian style restaurant, and this place does everything right.
The vegetables they have available are always fresh. I skip the noodles and just pile high with spinach, broccoli, and mushrooms. They cook it right in front of you; and when it's done they'll cover it in one of their amazing sauces; I always get the `spicy mongolian` sauce. Then they add one of brown/white/fried rice to your plate.
It's a nice relaxed atmosphere with open seating. The people working there are always friendly; it's an easy place to go for a quick meal, or to sit for a while and have a good conversation with friends.
YUM! Lots of veggies to add and the meat portion was generous. They also charged less for our kids as they didn't grab as much food. I really appreciate that. We will be back!
I have been to this location twice now and pretty much had the exact same experience which was good service and great food. The beauty of the Mongolian grill style of restaurant is you get to build your own lunch/dinner with all of the specific ingredients of your choosing so you know it will be exactly what you want.
After filling my bowl with various vegetables, noodles, and sauces, I opted for a double portion of meat so I could have both pork and beef. What I got in return was a gigantic pile of food which was perfect because this was a late lunch and I hand't eaten anything all day. Time to dig in!
The lady that helped me was very friendly and gave me suggestions on what sauce to add on as a finishing touch to the meal. The restaurant itself was very clean and looked exactly like it did the last time I was there which was some time ago so they do a great job at keeping the place looking good.
This is my favorite location for this food, it tastes amazing and has the best sauces to choose from. They're not as warm and friendly as they used to be when Jasmine ran it but the food is still really good and all of it is fresh. It's not soggy and the portions for meat are proportionate.
Great low cost meal. You pick your own fresh veggies out of the salad bar, plus meat (s) and sauces. I love the Mongolian pepper sauce and add the rooster sauce to the brown rice.
This place is so clean there is a letter from the health department stating the Mongolian Grill is at the top of their list for being spotless!
Wife and I have eaten here 3 times and find it consistent and a great low price healthy dinner spot where you can also enjoy a beer! For the food and the low price, we prefer this over any of the Chinese food in the area!
I personally love the food and restaurant, pricing is fair. Lots of food and sauce options, electronic check out with Clover and you can get it to go!
In the world of Mongolian Grills, this location is the top of the heap! No matter what time of day I go in (and I go here a LOT), the veggies are iced and fresh, the meal cooked to perfection and everything from the sauces to the rice is delicious.
Very tasty with a good variety of veggies and sauces. An egg and rice noodle to choose from and chicken, beef, pork, or tofu. Fish, shrimp, and lamb for an additional charge. It does come with rice (fried rice, brown or white) and they also have self serve fortune cookies. I would say it's a good portion, but probably not enough for another meal. Owners were very nice and service was great.
We love this type of Mongolian food. As apposed to the Changs on everygreen way who uses only oils to flavor your dish. Not this Mongolian Grill I just found in Mukilteo. It's a stand alone building in the QFC and Rite Aid shopping Center on the Speedway. The restaurant is in front of Rite Aid. The Key to not only having a large variety of fresh vegetables, tofu and all the meats they offer the SAUCE! That is the Key. I myself go Traditional and choose the Spicy Mongolian Sauce. Oh my god its the best try it. But they have around 8 different sauces from Peanut sauce, Teriyaki, seshwan, sweet n sour and others. The Mongolian Grills that have the sauces are the best. And this Mongolian Grill got it right. And since I am in charge of putting my bowl together I must say I'm good at my job and Mukilteo ' done good by making great sauces!
In the words of my husband "This is the nicest of any of these kinds of places we've ever been to". There isn't much service to speak of, which is exactly what you'd expect, but they are always clean and the decor/atmosphere is pleasing. What keeps us coming back is their huge selection of veggies and their awesome sauces.
I always forget how great this place is until I go there again and I am reminded of how obsessed I am with their food, clean environment and customer service. Always fast, friendly and even gave me some extra rice just because (which sounds small but we all know that awesome customer service goes a long way) :-) I'd recommend this place to anyone that loves a good Mongolian grill while they're in Mukilteo!
This place is seriously BOMB! Second time coming here in a few days haha For the price you get a ton of food and it takes so good! I love having the mushroom chicken and teriyaki sauce with mine. This is definitely worth checking out! I plan on coming back again and again!
Great food! I enjoyed the Onion pesto sauce & brown rice option. Love the family feel and large bench seating for large groups. Will definitely be back!!
Was craving a dinner with veggies and minimal processing: this place hit the spot! Loaded up on all of their vegetable options and added some great sauces. They add in the meat and rice, and even cooked it well done when asked. Got 2 meals out of it after taking home leftovers. I'll be back for sure.
Maybe it's just me, but as soon as I had come in for my first time, there was a lady who helped me out because I had never tried this place before and was unfamiliar with choosing vegetables and sides for the cook to girl for me. She made it a very pleasant experience for my first time and their beef and fried rice are above average for my tastes. I've tried many Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese restaurants but this restaurant is definitely a step above an average one, especially if you crave healthy but delicious food!! ( I appreciate the moderation in sauce that they have served me as well).
I'll definitely be coming back with friends and family to have them be surprised by this gem of a place ( the funny part is that it's completely visible from the speedway but I just never tried it... Yes, I regret it)
Great food & Great service~

We've been here a number of times and also have been to other, similar type restaurants. We have found this place to be have good quality food, a very good selection and reasonable prices compared to other such places. Not sure what some reviewers are expecting, grills of this type are not "all you can eat" and there is no charge for the meat unless you want something like shrimp. They also have about 6 side sauces, plus the sauces you can add yourself. You end up with a large plateful of food. We always end up with a second meal.
The place is clean, food options are always full and service is very nice.
Good stuff, staff!! Im frist time here becuase of my car!
I drop my car at Smart service! I ask the guys who work at Smart abt what is good food aronud here! Everybody tild me that this restaurant i should eat! the food was ok service here is really good and you can pick what you want to eat! I like!
Fantastic and fresh! Staff is friendly and accommodating - a must stop if you'd like to have it your way with lots of fresh vegetables that you choose yourself - super healthy options for some like me that doesn't eat red meat !
Not bad. Food was good, yeah a little pricey but all and all not crazy. I'd come again.
My family and I love this place!! We get to customize our own meals; it's always clean; and the food is promptly prepared!! Fair pricing for the amount of food you can pile up in your bowl, which is then cooked answer served on a plate. Highly recommend giving them a try!! This place is our favorite!!!
